External Approach to Bilaterally Septated Maxillary Sinuses: A Case Report

چکیده
The careful planning of a sinus lift procedure is the key to avoiding surgical complications. In this clinical case, female patient, 59 years old and totally edentulous in maxilla, was referred Egas Moniz’s Dental Clinic Implantology consultation with indication for bilateral external maxillary sinuses prior implant placement. Both orthopantomography cone-beam computed tomography were used show anatomy sinuses, which presented multiple septa. A anterolateral window approach applied order avoid perforation Schneiderian membrane while accessing it.
